Steve Gets Punchy!

Steve thinks kids have it too easy these days with the programmings tools that can generate code on the fly. Back in his day he did all of his programming on punch cards.

If you are coming back to visit again, yeah, I did change the year from 1985 to 1975, thus giving my buddy Steve and extra 10 years experience as a Cobol programmer. But then that works better for his fifty-something age. According to Wikipedia, punch card programming was used up until the mid eighties, and I even saw punch cards as data input as recent as 1993. Cheers!

A picture of my pet rats. ⇐ This is my desktop picture at the office.

Their names are Spitzer and Sputnik.

Looking at them reduces my stress and helps me be in my "happy place".
